Why do you do what you do? My partner (and mom) love to bake. So our business got it's start from doing what we love to do in our spare time. It's therapeutic for us. We love our work and feel so blessed that we get to work with each other every day doing something that we enjoy so much. The best part of our job is hearing the anecdotal stories from our clients about how Pie has been such a big part of their lives. Pie seems to bring up the feeling of being " home" whatever that means for each individual. The emotion and stories that been evoked when someone samples our product has been the most interesting, unexpected and rewarding part of our job.

What should brides/grooms/curious seekers know about you?We are a mother daughter team who are totally engaged in every process of the business. Our client's satisfaction is paramount to us. We bake what's in season, and use only all natural, farm- fresh ingredients. We believe in supporting the local food economy and buy local as much as we can. Our 1st Anniversary is this week!

What makes a wedding super rad to you?A super rad wedding to us is one that highlights the individuality of the bride and groom. Like the wedding we just booked for this Mach...the bride and groom are using little Lego figures as their boutonnieres... each one representing the personality of the groomsmen. How cool is that?

Name one thing about a wedding that you would like to see changed. One thing about a wedding that we would like to see changed is the stuffy traditions that take away from the brides and groom's personality.

You will meet some rad people at THE CREAM. What makes a good first impression to you? Someone makes a good first impression to me when I feel they are being authentic...truly themselves. Someone who is really interested in making connections with others.

Home cooked or Take out? Definitely home cooked! There's nothing better than sitting around a table with family and/or friends for a home cooked meal!

Blues or Country? Depends on the mood. Sometimes you just need a good old fashion country song...

Penthouse or Outhouse? Both. A penthouse in town and an outhouse in the country.

Name one thing about a wedding that you would like to see changed. I would like to see brides stop forsaking the integrity of their hair in the name of their wedding look. We can do amazing things with ANY length of hair and healthy hair will always look beautiful!

Why do you do what you do? from the time i was a small child i had been passionate about photography and enamored by its ability for depicting emotions, especially the good. i love that i get to photograph these life moments in a way that will draw you to the feelings of love and pure joy.

Name one thing about a wedding that you would like to see changed. brides/grooms not seeing eachother before the wedding. i love getting some one on one time with the couple and before the ceremony helps settle nerves and allows for some amazing shots in return.

Why do you do what you do? I have a tattoo that says "1,000 Stories" from a lyric that says, "For every line on my body, I want 1000 stories." In other words, I want to live life to the fullest extent I can. In every aspect of my life, including photography, I want to make the most of every experience that comes my way. At the end of my life, I'll be covered in lines- laugh lines, smile lines, wrinkles, scars.. Each with stories.

What should brides/grooms/curious seekers know about you? Ummm... I like to dance. I have a pot luck every first Thursday that you're all invited to. I'm a hugger. And I get awkward when people ask me what they should know about me and start randomly spouting off irrelevant facts.

Also- for people who may potentially hire me- I use a tilt shift lens 75% of the time and you should know whether or not you like that style before you invest in me. :)

What makes a wedding super rad to you? People that you can tell are genuinely in love. People that make it about the MARRIAGE and not about the WEDDING. Unique details that I can photograph the crap out of. And, of course, open bars. :)

Name one thing about a wedding that you would like to see changed. Less weddings inside of poorly lit churches, less emphasis on performing traditions that no one really cares about, NO MORE grumpy church ladies that yell at me, and more family style seating. :)

You will meet some rad people at THE CREAM. What makes a good first impression to you? Happy faces, people who repeat my name back to me, and well-placed sarcasm. :)
