Originator of the hanging orb terrarium, Britton Neubacher began Tend out of her love for all things mini, modern and green. Whether showcasing the inherent artistry in nature or just bringing life to the spaces we inhabit, Tend’s exploration of living art helps reinvent the way we see plants while empowering us to be their happy caretakers. Her recent foray into green weddings moves beyond single-use consumerism and offers a fresh, sustainable take on event floral.
Britton would like to reside in a global garden where people take care of their world and are good to each other. She believes that in stewarding your own little plant world, you will never be far from home.
You can find her in digging in the San Diego dirt and at tendliving.com
Why do you do what you do?
Connecting with nature and bringing the pretty gets my get up and go really get goin.
What should brides/grooms/curious seekers know about you? I am willing to go where no wedding florist has gone before.
What makes a wedding super rad to you? When folks have fun with the process and keep it true to who they are.
Name one thing about a wedding that you would like to see changed. Too much focus on things people will never remember about your wedding. Skip the decision-making minutia and stick to the stuff that truly matters. Resist the Wedding Industrial Complex, RESIST!
You will meet some rad people at HITCHED. What makes a good first impression to you? Heart light, and a handshake that means it.
